How are you coping with your grief? What has helped you on your journey? What gets you through the low points?
Feel free to share what has worked for you (and what hasn't).

How are you coping with your grief? What has helped you on your journey? What gets you through the low points? Feel free to share what has worked for you (and what hasn't). Sometimes you really do need to lean into the low points in order to work through the grieving process...for my part, I will often go for a long hike on one of the local trails here (usually for an angelversary or birthday) that has a Pet Rock Memorial Pile. I have placed rocks for my dogs here. Sometimes I will go and tidy up around the rock pile and just talk to them, pray, and remember them. It is a 6+ mile hike with plenty of hill climbs/descents, and river/valleys, so I wear myself out pretty well both physically and emotionally!
It is very scenic and spiritual to me, so I take nature photographs to add to the eventual scrapbook. In an odd way, I have found beauty within the pain.
